Since one of the things on Amanda's list last week was motivating yourself with new workout gear I thought I would highlight some of my favorite local shops for athletic apparel!
$ Tjmaxx - great for all workout gear, I especially like to get leggings, sports bras and yoga mats (they are like $12!). $$ Volunteer traditions - does not just have cute UT gear but they also carry Harper Knit which makes very cute and comfortable workout gear. They also have amazing sales! Instagram @vol_trad $$$ Athleta - premium workout gear, super flattering and comfortable. $$ Chestee - specializes in bras with lifting in mind. Their bras are made with protection for your collar so ladies you don't have to worry about bruising or chafing when you are push pressing or hang cleaning. They even have a bra design put together by local cross fit queen Martha Fisher. Instagram @thechestee $$ Rep Active Art - (actually based out of Alabama but too cool not to share) unique and beautiful leggings each inspired by artwork that is printed into the fabric. $-$$ Rio Mistico Nashville - a bit of a shameless plug here but I wouldn't share it if I didn't LOVE these suits! This is a swimwear company that is based out of Paraguay and brought here by the lovely Ana Bolus (cousin-in-law). Since it has been in the 70s I am already gearing up my swimsuit collection!
